As both an educator and a parent in Alphabet Daycare Downtown, I’ve had the unique opportunity to see firsthand the positive impact it has on children’s growth and development. Both of my children have been enrolled here, and the experience has been nothing short of wonderful.
My son, who is still attending, started out as a very reserved little boy. Over time, with the support of the educators and the nurturing environment, he has grown into a confident, talkative child who is now a friend to everybody. It’s been incredible to watch him come out of his shell and thrive socially.
My daughter has already completed her time at the daycare, but one of the most meaningful outcomes for her has been the friendships she built here. She developed socially and she also created strong, lasting bonds. Even after moving on from daycare, she remains connected with her friends and educators, which speaks volumes about the community this center fosters.
As an educator working here, I’ve always admired the dedication, patience, and care of my colleagues. As a parent, I am deeply grateful for the role they’ve played in helping both of my children feel safe and loved. Alphabet Daycare Downtown truly feels like a second home for our family.

Alphabet Daycare, a home away from home for our children!
Our oldest, Chloe, started with Alphabet Daycare in the fall of 2019, shortly after their opening. Since then, she has grown into a wonderfully inquisitive, bright and caring girl! She has grown all the way from the baby room to the OSC room at Alphabet Daycare. She will begin Grade 2 this fall and I know that she is well prepared, largely due to the love and support she is shown daily at daycare. We were thrilled for our other daughter, Charlie, to have joined the Alphabet family in the infant room last year!

As one of the educators in the Sloth Room, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to have my son, Justin, and my daughter, Chantelle, attend Alphabet Daycare. Although we are in the same branch but in different rooms, it brings me so much joy to witness their growth and development each day.
I truly believe that Alphabet Daycare is the best place for my children. The environment we provide is nurturing, enriching, and full of love, thanks to the guidance of our amazing director and the dedication of all our educators. Everyone works so hard in planning meaningful activities and providing the best care for the children, and I see the positive impact it has not just on my kids, but on all the children in our care.

Our son Lincoln has been with Alphabet daycare for over 5 years now and he continues to love going there everyday, and most days he doesn’t want to leave! All of the employees have always been amazing communicating with us about our sons, good or bad behavior, plus they are big on rules which we are too. All the staff have always been awesome to deal with, and we have continued to stay with Alphabet Daycare when Lincoln started Kindergarten for after school care. Lincoln has learned a lot in the past 5 years, and we are thankful for the help and support he’s had at Alphabet Daycare.

Our little guy is often shy and reserved yet the staff continuously help him feel warm and welcome and encourage him to interact and play with the other children! That is so comforting as a parent since trusting others with your child is not an easy task!
The director has been so humble and helpful throughout our experience! If it wasn’t for her heart and her commitment to her job (and our family) I know that our childcare experience wouldn’t have been as positive as it was!
